The doll craftsmanship came from Beijing Opera and formed an industry of exquisite handwork since the opera was born in the 18th century.
This doll originates from the Consort Yang of the Chinese emperor in Tang dynasty, whose story has been widely dramatized in the opera. She is regarded as one of the legendary "Four Great Beauties" in ancient China for her beauty and charm :)
The doll comes with a square wooden base. There is an option to choose a display case with the doll to prevent dust.
